500 Days of Summer

This is a story of boy meets girl.
Hansel the boy is an average guy with the average life, living in a free world but not free in the life he lives. He is not pursuing something he wants to do, but something he has to do. To feed himself, to live.
Summer the girl has not a clue of what she wants from life, but she still wants. She wants to have her way with life, she somehow always has her way with life. She is pretty, pretty and even more so pretty.

Hansel stumbles upon her at his mundane, don't wanna do job; where she has joined in as the new secretary of his boss. Pretty, Pretty and even more so Pretty. How can men be so idiotic, especially the ones with a baffled notion of love. Love Pure Love Unconditional Love Love at first sight, sounds a little girly but a lot of men are like that when it comes to Love. They are helpless, what is often referred to in slang parlance as pussy behaviour . Yes, men act like pussies when it comes to love. (FUUUUUCCCCCCCK!!! mental note)

Hansel likes Summer. Then kicks in the inevitable denial mode, its nothing. There is no attraction. She is not even that into me. Admit it Dickhead you already love her!!!

Now Summer: She does not know what she wants from life, she just wants and she has it. She will go upto him when they are photocopying something and kiss her passionately.

She is with him all the time. They are the typical going around kind of couple.

COUPLE - this is where the problem kicks in. Any usual guy would be under the presumption that they are a couple. Summer does not think so, she is looking for something CASUAL.

Casual does it, nice and slow. She is on his bed, ITS CASUAL. Women - What do they want? Even they don't have a clue. "Come here *kiss* *kiss*".

Some other random time - "You are in MY AIR. Back off!"

WOMEN, WOMEN, WOMEN. AAAAArrrrrghhhhh!!! (Okay enough whining.)

They still continue with their casual relationship.

They are at a bar, a random guy hits on Summer. She tackles it gracefully and gives it back to him in the same manner. He makes snide remarks about Hansel; to him being her boyfriend (He's cute but average). Hansel who was not reacting at all till now suckerpunches him. Hansel too gets a blow.

Later Summer reacts to this by shouting on him for getting involved. Hansel is confused. This isn't CASUAL anymore. He goes away. Later Summer drops by at Hansel's place and makes up for shouting at him **.

Later they break up.

Hansel is as good as dead, he has not been able to survive this breakup. Somehow he gathers himself up. He quits his job and starts looking for a job that he would love to do, and not just do to do!

He walks into her randomly. She is MARRIED. The look on his face says it all.
Summer - "I was just sitting at a Deli and he asked me about the book I was reading, and then the next thing I remember, I got married to him."
"Probably I was never the right girl for you."

Hansel moves on in his life. He is at a job interview, where he meets a girl who is also appearing for the interview. She says "I think I have seen you somewhere." Then she names one of Hansel's favourite places where he and Summer used to hangout. Hansel reacts by saying that he never saw her there. The girl replies "probably you weren't looking."

Hansel: I'm Hansel and what's your name?
The Girl: I'm Autumn.

Hansel gives the BRING IT ON look.
